Post-it® Small Special Shaped Notes
Post-it® Small Special Shaped Notes sit within the Post-it® range as the shaped and compact option, die-cut from a 2¾ by 3 inch pad into one of five distinct shapes rather than the standard rectangular note form. The five shapes in the current range are a flat-top circle, a heart, a slanted square, a U-shape, and an arrow. Each is a pad of self-adhesive notes, digitally printed with the brand's design on the note face, in the Post-it® format that offices and desks already recognise and trust. From 500 units. A recycled paper option is available for an eco-friendly version, and a premium paper option is available for a more elevated feel, making either a straightforward upgrade at the time of ordering.
Where the note is both a functional item and a conversation piece, a shaped pad earns its place. A heart from a healthcare brand on a colleague's monitor, an arrow on a documents folder from a legal firm. The shape carries meaning before the logo is read.
In sectors where the Post-it® brand adds credibility to the branded item. Professional services, education, and corporate marketing sectors, a shaped pad is the version that stands out in a desk drawer or a gift bag alongside rectangular alternatives.
Product Knowledge
What makes these different from other Post-it® note ranges?
The defining characteristic is the die-cut shape. Other Post-it® note ranges, including the classic rectangular pads, the angle note pads, and the Super Sticky range. All use rectangular or angled cuts. The Small Special Shaped Notes are physically cut into a non-rectangular shape: circle, heart, square (slanted), U-shape, or arrow. Each note peeled from the pad carries the full shape outline. The notes use the standard Post-it® self-adhesive rather than the Super Sticky formulation. They carry the recognised Post-it® adhesive in a shaped format.
What does "small" mean in terms of the pad dimensions?
Each shaped note is die-cut from a 2¾ by 3 inch base pad. This makes the overall pad compact relative to the classic 3 by 3 inch square or larger rectangular pads. The shape itself reduces the usable area further depending on the contours. A circle or heart has less corner-to-corner area than a slanted square of similar dimensions. These are designed as compact desk notes suited to a short message, a reminder, or a branding impression, rather than as a note pad for extensive writing.
Do the shaped notes use the same adhesive as the original Post-it® range?
Yes, the shaped notes use the standard Post-it® self-adhesive, the same repositionable adhesive found across the original Post-it® range. This is a different formulation from the Super Sticky range, which uses approximately double the adhesive strength. The original adhesive is suited to smooth paper and desk surfaces and most painted or smooth walls. For use on whiteboards, textured surfaces, or in situations where notes need to hold through a full day, the Super Sticky range is the more appropriate option.
Can the design wrap around the full shape of the note or just the top section?
The digital print covers the note face within the bounds of the die-cut shape. For most shapes, the print can be designed to fill the full visible area. Background colour, design elements, and logo can all be placed across the face of the shape. Some shapes have areas where usable writing space is limited by the contour, and the design should account for this to avoid covering the area where someone would write. The supplier provides the artwork template for the specific shape confirming the print area and any safe zones for both the design and the writing area.
