Antinori 280ml Porcelain Mug takes on a pale sage green finish where the reactive glaze pools and lightens unevenly across the surface, more like a wash of watercolour than a standard, uniform glaze. Because that reaction happens differently with every firing, no two mugs in a run end up shaded quite the same way. Vitrification is what allows the porcelain to go straight into the microwave without concern and cope with a nonstop rush of orders across a café counter. The one part needing gentler treatment is the pad printed logo, which fades under dishwasher heat, so a hand wash is what keeps it looking sharp. It holds 280ml, right for a cortado, flat white or small tea.
