Description
Grimaldi Porcelain Espresso Cup 90ml is sized for a single strong shot, its muted ash grey finish streaked with soft off-white and, in certain light, a faint hint of green underneath. All of that comes down to a reactive glaze that behaves differently on every piece, so no two cups off the same run mottle in exactly the same way. Vitrified porcelain gives the cup its strength, safe for the microwave and sturdy enough to handle the pace of a busy espresso bar. Pad printed branding is the exception, needing a hand wash rather than a dishwasher cycle to stop the artwork fading over time.
Reactive Glaze Variance. Each Grimaldi Porcelain Espresso Cup goes through the kiln individually, so the glaze reacts uniquely to heat every time. Expect natural variation in colour hue and patina pattern across pieces, this is intentional and part of what makes each cup distinct.
