Grimaldi 280ml Porcelain Mug takes on a cool, muted ash grey finish where soft off-white streaks cut through the surface and a faint green undertone flickers in and out depending on how the light hits it. All of that comes down to a reactive glaze that behaves differently on every piece, so no two mugs off the same production run mottle in exactly the same pattern. The porcelain underneath is fully vitrified, which is exactly why the microwave is never an issue and why the mug can handle back-to-back café service without wearing thin. Branding needs a different kind of care, pad print doesn't survive a dishwasher, so hand washing is what keeps a printed logo looking sharp. It holds 280ml, right for a cortado, flat white or small tea.
