Alto 473ml Hi Ball Glass

Description

The Alto 473ml Hi Ball Glass has a classic 8 sided panelled shape that tapers down to a heavy, solid base, a design that has defined commercial glassware for decades. It is made from glass and strengthened with Libbey's DuraTuff® thermal process, improving resistance to mechanical impact and thermal shock and helping it fail safely into large, dull chunks rather than sharp shards if broken. The panels provide a firm grip even when covered in condensation. Holding 473ml, it suits long mixed drinks and soft drinks equally well.

DuraTuff® Thermal Strengthening. This glass has its upper portion treated with a specialised heating and rapid cooling cycle, giving it maximum resistance to mechanical impacts and thermal shock.

Safer Breakage Pattern. Should a violent impact drop or crack this glass, thermal tension makes it fail in large, dull chunks instead of shattering into dangerous, microscopic shards that could contaminate a floor or ice well.

Iconic Octagonal Panelling. An 8 sided faceted profile, the classic Gibraltar design, gives servers and patrons a reliable, non-slip grip even when the glass is heavily condensated from ice cold drinks.

Heavyweight Solid Base. This glass has a dense glass bottom that balances its tall, large capacity shape, lowering the centre of gravity to reduce the risk of table tip-overs.

Branding Options

There are three ways we can brand this glassware, and the right one depends on how it will be used and washed.

Pad Printing is our standard method and the pricing shown on this page. The logo is pad printed onto the glass and cured in a low fire oven. Pad printed glasses are hand wash only and not dishwasher safe.

Decal Printing is the upgrade for commercial use. The decal is fired in a high temperature kiln, which fuses it to the glass and makes it guaranteed dishwasher safe. It costs more than pad printing, so contact our sales team for a price.

Laser Etching is also priced on this page. The logo is etched into the surface for a permanent frosted finish that's dishwasher safe and will never fade.
