Gift Sets Over $100

Above $100, gift sets move into a category defined by brand names and materials that carry recognised value independent of the corporate context. Six categories are available at this level. A single-unit BBQ set — a metal camping cooker in a carry case — replaces the multi-piece configurations of lower brackets. Cheese and entertaining sets at this level include the Swissmar three-piece stainless steel knife set alongside artisan and entertainer formats combining boards, accessories, candles and linen. Drinkware expands to a full premium barware range: Boston cocktail mixing sets in copper, multi-piece bar kits in leather roll-up cases, prestige bar sets in stands and mojito and brew-specific combinations. Lifestyle gift boxes at this level are luxury-positioned — restful, productivity-oriented and entertainer formats assembled under names that communicate their use. Pen sets are exclusively Cerruti 1881 — pen and pencil, pen and rollerball, and pen and fountain pen configurations across the full brand range. Picnic sets at this level are four-person backpack and carry formats — the Wanderer, Vision and Weekender — alongside paired sets for two. Tool and gadget sets combine Swiss Force, Victorinox Swiss Army Knife models and Leatherman multi-tools paired with AA Mini Maglite torches. Wine gift sets at this level include the Hugo Boss Wine Gift Set, Bentley five-piece set, Cellar Companion gift case and full accessory configurations.

Gifting at this price point is reserved for the relationships that warrant it — transaction settlement gifts from legal and financial firms, senior executive recognition, keynote speaker acknowledgements, and top-tier client programmes where the per-head cost is not the constraint. A Leatherman Wave paired with a Maglite in a branded carry case, or a Cerruti 1881 fountain pen set in a presentation box, communicates something no amount of spend on a lower-bracket gift can approximate: that the selection was deliberate, the brand was chosen, and the recipient was considered individually.

Branding across this range follows the methods suited to each product. Cerruti 1881 pen components are engraved. Leather and fabric elements on barware kits and picnic sets are debossed or printed. Victorinox and Leatherman components follow manufacturer decoration options. Wine accessories and wooden cases suit engraving. Where brand-name products carry decoration constraints, individual listings detail what is available per model.

Common Questions

How do we justify a per-head spend over $100 to internal stakeholders when approving a gifting programme?
The justification is straightforward when the recipient group is well-defined. A gifting programme targeting the firm's top 20 client relationships sits in a different budget category from a volume distribution — the total programme cost may be lower than a mid-bracket programme covering 200 recipients. The case for spend at this level is the relationship value attached to each recipient, not the total line item. A Cerruti 1881 pen set or a Hugo Boss wine gift sent to a relationship worth several hundred thousand annually in retained fees is a proportionate investment, not an indulgence.

Which categories at this price point are appropriate for a formal executive gifting context — and which are not?
Cerruti 1881 pen sets are the strongest choice for formal executive gifting: the brand is recognised in the premium writing instrument market, the presentation is appropriate for a boardroom context, and pen sets read as considered rather than lavish. Hugo Boss wine gift sets and the Cellar Companion gift case carry comparable brand weight in a wine category context. Lifestyle gift boxes are well-suited to personal recognition — a work anniversary, a team departure — rather than a formal business relationship gift. Tool and gadget sets suit recipients in industries where practical high-quality items are the more considered choice.

Can a single gifting programme use different sets for different recipients and still be processed as one order?
Mixed-set programmes at this level are handled the same way as lower brackets — the branding is applied per set type within the same order, and different recipients can receive different configurations within a consistent programme. The practical consideration at this price point is confirming which sets carry manufacturer decoration constraints before briefing the programme, so branding expectations are aligned before production begins. Each category's individual listings confirm what is available.

What is the lead time for a branded order of premium sets at this level?
Lead times at this price point are typically longer than lower brackets because decoration on brand-name components — Victorinox, Leatherman, Cerruti 1881 — involves manufacturer-approved processes that take more time than standard pad printing. For end-of-year client programmes, briefing four to six weeks ahead of the delivery date is the appropriate buffer. Lifestyle and barware sets without brand-name components generally have shorter turnaround. Individual listings carry the current lead time per set.

Are there set types in this range that work as transaction-specific gifts rather than annual distributions?
Several categories are well-suited to transaction-specific gifting rather than a programme. A Leatherman or Victorinox multi-tool paired with a Maglite suits property settlement or construction project completion. A Hugo Boss wine gift set suits a transaction closing or a relationship milestone. Cerruti 1881 pen sets are appropriate for both — a pen is a natural gift at the conclusion of a signing. The single-unit camping cooker is the most occasion-specific set in this bracket, suited to an outdoor entertainment context or a departure gift for a client or executive known to camp or travel outdoors.
