POS Inflatables
POS inflatables operate at a different scale from every other display item in a brand's event toolkit. A 3 by 3 metre inflatable marquee does not compete with banner stands for attention. It is the event space itself. A large event arch does not function as a backdrop. It is the entrance. A blimp floating above a retail car park or a festival site is visible from a distance that makes any ground-level signage irrelevant. The range covers the full POS inflatable spectrum. Advertising balloons for a versatile elevated presence, blimps for aerial brand positioning, event arches in small and large sizes for gateway structures, product-shaped replicas including beer bottle and soda can forms for point-of-sale and product launch contexts, a cloud shape for retail and exhibition display, and a 3 by 3 metre inflatable marquee for a fully branded shelter space. All branded by sublimation across the full exterior surface, wrapping the entire three-dimensional form in the campaign design. From 1 unit on most styles.
Unlike a display element, an inflatable marquee is the branded environment itself. At an outdoor event where no fixed structure exists, the marquee is the brand's territory, and everyone inside it is inside the brand's space.
Product Knowledge
What is sublimation and how does it work on an inflatable?
Sublimation is a print process where heat is used to transfer dye into the fabric fibre rather than applying ink to the surface. The dye becomes part of the material rather than sitting on top of it, which means the print does not crack, peel, or fade with inflation and deflation cycles. On an inflatable, the fabric panels are printed flat by sublimation before the inflatable is assembled. The printed panels are then stitched into the three-dimensional inflatable shape, which means the design must be engineered to map correctly across the curved surfaces of the assembled form. This is why artwork preparation for inflatables requires a specific template from the supplier.
What is a POS inflatable and how is it different from a promotional inflatable?
POS stands for Point of Sale. Inflatables in this category are designed for use at the location where brand engagement or purchase decisions are happening: a retail floor, a trade show stand, an outdoor festival, a sports event, or a product launch site. The distinction from a generic promotional inflatable is primarily context and construction. POS inflatables are built for event-grade durability, tethering, and repeated setup and pack-down across multiple activations. They are sized and designed to command attention at the point of consumer contact rather than to be carried or given away.
Can a product-shaped inflatable replica match a brand's actual packaging?
Yes, a beer bottle, soda can, or other product-shaped inflatable can be sublimation-printed to match the brand's actual product packaging design, colour scheme, and label layout. The three-dimensional form of the inflatable means the label design needs to be adapted for a curved surface rather than a flat face, which requires artwork preparation against the specific inflatable template. For a product launch or a retail activation where the giant inflatable replica needs to be immediately recognisable as the brand's product, accurate replication of the packaging design is achievable through the sublimation process.
Can POS inflatables be used indoors as well as outdoors?
Many styles in the range are suitable for indoor use at exhibitions, trade show halls, and large retail spaces, as well as outdoor events. The primary consideration for indoor use is ceiling or overhead clearance. A large event arch or blimp requires sufficient vertical space to be inflated to its full height. For outdoor use, tethering the inflatable to the ground or a fixed structure is required in any wind conditions. Confirming the indoor/outdoor rating, recommended clearance dimensions, and tethering requirements for the specific style before the event ensures the installation suits the venue.
